Martin Keown: Man United star is in the form of his life
Martin Keown heaps praise on Jesse Lingard for his sparkling display for Manchester United against Arsenal

Martin Keown has heaped praise on Jesse Lingard following his sparkling display for Manchester United in the 3-1 win over Arsenal at The Emirates on Saturday.
The England attacker scored once in each half to add to Antonio Valencia’s opener in north London to hand the Red Devils all three points against the Gunners.
Despite his recent good form, Lingard has found his first-team opportunities at Manchester United to be somewhat restricted this season.
The 24-year-old has scored three goals and made three assists in the top flight, but has only started three of Manchester United’s 15 Premier League games so far this term.
However, Arsenal legend Keown was clearly very impressed with what he saw from Lingard against the Gunners on Saturday.
Speaking to BT Sport after the game, ex-Arsenal star Keown said: “He carried out the manager’s orders brilliantly well.
“He was the trigger to press. He knew when to break from midfield. He ran with the ball with great intelligence. His movement in the box was great.
“That’s the best I’ve ever seen him play.”
Lingard will be hoping to make his fourth start of the season in the Premier League for the Red Devils when Manchester United take on Manchester City in Sunday’s crunch derby showdown at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils head into that game in second place in the Premier League table and eight points behind leaders Manchester City after 15 games of the new campaign.
