Fabinho wants to leave Monaco this summer amid the speculation linking him with a transfer to Manchester United, according to reports in France.
French outlet L’Equipe, as quoted by Metro, is claiming that the Brazilian midfielder wants to leave the Ligue 1 champions before next season.
It is also claimed in the same report that Fabinho is a transfer target for Arsenal this summer.
Manchester United are said to have expressed “substantial interest” in signing Fabinho this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his squad this summer.
And the same article states that Fabinho believes that now is the right time to leave Monaco.
Manchester United confirmed their second signing of the summer over the weekend by tying up a deal to bring Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku to Old Trafford from Everton.
The Red Devils, however, are still thought to be on the lookout for a number of new signings as they prepare for Mourinho’s second season in charge at Old Trafford and a return to the Champions League next term.
