Ian Wright: Man United need to see more consistency from Henrikh Mkhitaryan
The Arsenal legend is critical of Henrikh Mkhitaryan's recent performances in the Manchester United team

Ian Wright has warned Henrikh Mkhitaryan that he needs to show more consistency to secure a regular place in the Manchester United team.
The Armenia international made a positive start to the 2017-18 campaign following a return of one goal and five assists in his opening eight Premier League games.
Mkhitaryan produced a mesmerising performance to help Manchester United to ease to a 4-1 win against CSKA Moscow in their second Champions League fixture of the campaign.
However, the 28-year-old struggled to leave an imprint on last weekend’s goalless draw with Liverpool at Anfield before a lacklustre display in a 1-0 win at Benfica mid-week.
Former Arsenal striker Wright warned Mkhitaryan that his performance level needs to improve if the attacking midfielder wants to remain a first-team regular.
“Man United need to see more consistency from Henrikh Mkhitaryan,” Wright told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“He has the kind of manager, if he puts in inconsistent performances, he will be in trouble.”
Mkhitaryan initially struggled to secure a place in Jose Mourinho’s team following his £30m move to Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund in the 2016 summer transfer window.
However, the Mourinho signing managed to fight his way back into first-team contention and played a key role in Manchester United’s Europa League success.
Manchester United will make the trip to promoted side Huddersfield Town this weekend in search of a seventh win in the 2017-18 campaign.
