Man United striker named as only England positive: He’s going to get even better
Spurs legend Chris Waddle is backing Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford to get better as the season progresses

Chris Waddle named Marcus Rashford as England’s only positive from their 1-0 win against Slovenia on Thursday evening.
The England international helped the Three Lions to secure their place at the 2018 World Cup in Russia next summer.
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane scored a late winner to cement England’s place at the major tournament in 2018.
Rashford played the full 90 minutes at Wembley as the Manchester United forward helped the hosts to secure a narrow win.
The 19-year-old has made a brilliant start to the 2017-18 season following return of two goals and three assists in seven appearances in the Premier League so far.
Rashford will be hoping to secure his place in Gareth Southgate’s squad for the 2018 World Cup with some impressive performances for Manchester United this season.
Former England and Spurs forward Waddle claimed that Rashford was the only positive for the Three Lions in an otherwise disappointing performance.
“Rashford was a plus,” Waddle told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“His end product let him down. He is a young player. He is only going to get better.”
Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last season.
However, the Red Devils won the EFL Cup and the Europa League to end the campaign on a positive note.
Manchester United are looking to win their first Premier League title this season since Sir Alex Ferguson’s outfit.
