Alvaro Morata is intent on completing a transfer from Real Madrid to Manchester United this summer, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish newspaper Marca, as quoted by Metro, is claiming that the Real Madrid forward has his heart set on a transfer to Old Trafford this summer.
The same report states that Morata is “firm” about the idea of signing for Manchester United this summer and linking up with his former manager Jose Mourinho.
The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a transfer to Manchester United this summer but there has been no official news from either club.
Indeed, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez said this week that the Spanish side were yet to receive any official offers for any of their players this summer.
Morata is believed to be open to a move away from los Blancos this summer after finding his playing time to be limited under Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane last season.
Manchester United have been linked with a host players this summer but have so far only confirmed the signing of defender Victor Lindelof from Benfica.
