Man United want to sign 23-year-old Real Madrid star – report
Manchester United are ready to make a transfer bid to sign Matteo Kovacic from Real Madrid this summer, say reports

Manchester United are interested in signing Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid this summer, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish outlet Diario Madrista is reporting that the Red Devils are keen to sign the 23-year-old midfielder this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his squad ahead of next season.
The same report claims that Mourinho has asked Real Madrid chiefs about the possibility of Manchester United signing Kovacic this summer, with the Red Devils said to be ready to double his wages if he were to move to Old Trafford.
However, the story states that Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has no intention of selling the Croatian this summer, meaning that Manchester United could end up disappointed.
It is also claimed that Paris Saint-Germain are interested in Kovacic but it seems that Real Madrid would be very reluctant to sell him this summer.
Manchester United are thought to be on the lookout for a number of reinforcements this summer as Mourinho prepares his team for a return to the Champions League next season.
However, the Red Devils have so far only concluded a deal to sign defender Victor Lindelof from Benfica.
