Man United to sign 28-year-old in €45m deal, claims insider
Tancredi Palmeri takes to Twitter to claim that Manchester United are set to complete the signing of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea

Manchester United are set to complete the signing of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea in a €45m deal, according to Tancredi Palmeri.
The Italian journalist took to Twitter on Monday night to claim that the Red Devils are set to tie up the signing of the Serbia international as their second summer recruit.
Palmeri claims that Manchester United will pay a fee of around €45m (£39.7m) for the midfielder, who previously worked under Jose Mourinho at Chelsea and won the title with the Portuguese coach in the 2014-15 season.
Palmeri wrote on Twitter: “So Matic joining Manchester United for 45m€. Good signing, too high price?”
Matic has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in recent days amid reports that Chelsea are closing in on the signing of Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
The move for Matic would appear to make sense for the Red Devils, with Manchester United thought to be on the lookout for a long-term replacement for Michael Carrick in the heart of their midfield.
And it seems that Chelsea will have no issues in selling to a direct Premier League rival, as long as they are able to conclude a deal to sign Bakayoko.
