Dimitar Berbatov sends advice to Man United striker Romelu Lukaku
The Manchester United legend offers some advice to Romelu Lukaku about ending his goal drought

Dimitar Berbatov has urged Romelu Lukaku to retain his self belief despite the Manchester United striker enduring a four-game goal drought.
The Belgium international’s performance has come under scrutiny over the past week or so following his dry spell in the Premier League and the Champions League.
Lukaku scored seven goals in seven games following his £75m move to Manchester United from Premier League rivals Everton in the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old failed to find the net in a goalless draw with bitter rivals Liverpool at Anfield before Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford score their only goal in a 2-1 loss at promoted side Huddersfield Town.
Manchester United eased to a 1-0 win against title rivals Tottenham Hotspur last weekend thanks to Anthony Martial’s late winner, before the Red Devils were 2-0 winners against Benfica in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Former Red Devils striker Berbatov urged Lukaku to keep believing in his ability despite a difficult run of form in the Champions League.
“He needs to believe in himself that he can still do the things that he can do: scoring goals,” Berbatov told BT Sport.
“With the help of his team-mates, they were trying to give him the ball so he could score.
“They were still trying to give it to him even if it was difficult. It shows he wants to score goals.”
Manchester United are in second place in the Premier League table and five points adrift of current leaders Manchester City.
The Red Devils haven’t won the title since 2013 when Sir Alex Ferguson got his hands on his final title triumph.
