Jose Mourinho told Man United signing can emulate Chelsea legend at Old Trafford
Gary Pallister is confident Manchester United signing Romelu Lukaku can become Jose Mourinho's Didier Drogba at Old Trafford

Manchester United summer signing Romelu Lukaku can be like Didier Drogba at Chelsea for Jose Mourinho, Gary Pallister has claimed.
The Red Devils managed to see off competition from Premier League champions Chelsea to sign Lukaku in a £75m deal from Everton in July.
Lukaku has hit the ground running with seven goals in seven games in the Premier League ahead of this weekend’s trip to Liverpool.
The 24-year-old has dispelled concerns about his ability to thrive at a top club with three goals in two fixtures in the Champions League.
Lukaku has effortlessly slotted into the Manchester United team to provide a clinical and powerful target for his team-mates to find.
Mourinho won two Premier League titles with Drogba during his first spell as the Ivory Coast international dominated opposition defences for Chelsea.
And ex-Manchester united defender Pallister believes Lukaku emulate Drogue’s success in a Red Devils shirt.
“Mourinho has someone in Lukaku who is similar to Didier Drogba, who did so well for him at Chelsea. He is powerful, strong, he is quick and you are putting players alongside him who can make things happen in Rashford, Martial, Mata and now we look like we have goals in the side,” Pallister told BetSafe.
“We are a strong, tall and physical side with plenty of power so we are an improved side from last year that won trophies and didn’t get in the top four and maybe struggled to score goals at times.”
Lukaku scored 25 times in 36 games in the Premier League last season for Everton to earn a move to Manchester United.
Drogba’s old side Chelsea, meanwhile, have made a stuttering start to the new campaign as they were beaten 2-1 by Crystal Palace on Saturday to leave them nine points off top spot.
