Pundit: Man United signing can be phenomenal, something special
Danny Murphy believes Manchester United signing Romelu Lukaku has "phenomenal" potential

Danny Murphy believes Manchester United signing Romelu Lukaku has the potential to be a “phenomenal” goal-scorer.
The Belgium international opted to move to Manchester United in a £75m deal from Premier League rivals Everton in the summer transfer window despite having the option to return to defending champions Chelsea.
Lukaku has already scored seven goals in seven games in the Premier League so far to make a brilliant start to his Manchester United career ahead of the international break.
The 24-year-old has also netted three goals in two Champions League games against Swiss side Basel and Russian outfit CSKA Moscow.
Lukaku struggled to establish himself at Chelsea before a permanent move to Everton in 2014 where he made a name as one of the Premier League’s most-prolific goal-scorers.
Former Liverpool and Tottenham star Murphy believes Lukaku has the potential to blossom into a phenomenal striker at Manchester United.
“He is starting to think he can be the best. His fitness is a big thing too,” Murphy told The Debate from Sky Sports.
“He could be phenomenal. He could really go on to be something special.”
Lukaku scored 25 times in 36 games in the Premier League last season to finish behind Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane in the goal-scorer charts.
Manchester United signed Benfica defender Victor Lindelof in a £30m deal from Portuguese side Benfica before concluding a £40m transfer for Serbia international Nemanja Matic.
