Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera will undergo late fitness tests to determine whether they’ll be ready for Manchester United’s clash with Tottenham in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, according to reports in the British media.
Metro is reporting that both Rashford and Herrera are major doubts for the crunch Premier League clash after they both picked up knocks during Manchester United’s 2-0 win over Swansea on Tuesday night.
Rashford suffered a tightness in his hamstring, while Herrera picked up a knock to his ankle at the Liberty Stadium, with both players coming off in the second half.
The same report says Manchester United will wait until the “last minute” before making a decision about the pair’s inclusion against Spurs.
Manchester United are preparing for the game as they look to bounce back to winning ways in the Premier League following their shock defeat by Huddersfield Town last weekend.
That result left the Red Devils in second place in the Premier League table and five points behind leaders Manchester City.
Manchester United are looking to challenge for the Premier League title this season after they ended up in a disappointing sixth place in the table in what was Jose Mourinho’s first campaign in charge last season.
