The Sky Sports News HQ reporter has taken to Twitter to shed light on the latest reports linking the Red Devils with a move to sign the Croatian winger this summer.
Perisic has been regularly touted as a possible target for the Red Devils as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his attacking options at Old Trafford.
Now, reporter Solhekol has revealed that the Red Devils are getting “closer” to completing a deal to land the 28-year-old attacker.
Solhekol wrote on Twitter: “Ivan Perisic move from Inter Milan to Manchester United getting closer. Talks ongoing. Inter still asking for close to £48m.”
Manchester United completed their second signing of the summer on Monday when they announced a deal to land striker Romelu Lukaku from Everton.

Manchester United finished sixth in the Premier League but won the EFL Cup and Europa League in Mourinho’s first campaign at the club.
