Man United boss Jose Mourinho told to spend big this summer
Phil Neville says Manchester United need to spend big this summer ahead of Jose Mourinho's second season

Phil Neville has warned Jose Mourinho that he has no choice but to significantly strengthen his Manchester United squad this summer.
The Red Devils are preparing for their second season under the Portuguese coach following his appointment last May.
Manchester United are set to make a return to the Champions League next season after Mourinho led the Red Devils to EFL Cup and Europa League glory last term.
However, Neville reckons Mourinho will have to bring in a number of players this summer to make sure that they are able to keep pace with their rivals.
Neville is quoted as saying by the Daily Express: “I think it was a brilliant season last year and it finished well with the Europa League.
“Now we’re looking to see who Jose signs because, if you look at the top six clubs, I think they will all strengthen.
“United have to strengthen and it’ll be interesting to see which team strengthens the most.”
Manchester United have been linked with a host of players so far this summer but have only concluded a deal to sign defender Victor Lindelof from Benfica.
The Red Devils are set to go straight into the group stage of the Champions League after their Europa League triumph last season in Mourinho’s debut campaign at Old Trafford.
