Romelu Lukaku has promised Manchester United fans that they will now see a “different” side to the Red Devils as they bid to turn their form around.
The Red Devils picked up their second Premier League win of the season on Sunday afternoon when they claimed a 2-0 victory at Burnley.
The win was a welcome one, as it came after Manchester United had slumped to back to back defeats by Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton and Hove Albion.
Manchester United will now be looking to get their campaign back on track as they aim to string together a series of positive results and climb the table.
Jose Mourinho’s side have found themselves under intense pressure in recent weeks, but Lukaku now feels that the stage is set for the Red Devils to step their game up and get their campaign on track.
Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports after Sunday’s win, Lukaku said: “The people will now see a different side of us.
“Everything that we worked on in the last couple of weeks is coming out now – lots of quick passing, runs in behind, a lot of action and a lot of chances.
“We have the mentality, but it needs to come out a bit more. That is what the manager wants and that is what we need to do.”
Manchester United will return to Premier League action after the international break when the Red Devils take on Watford away from home.
Mourinho has been tasked with steering Manchester United to their first Premier League title since 2013.
