Reporter gives latest update on Romelu Lukaku’s Man United situation
Inter Milan are keen to sign Romelu Lukaku this summer but Manchester United are demanding a cash fee, says Kristof Terreur

Inter Milan are keen to sign Romelu Lukaku this summer but Manchester United are demanding a cash fee for the striker, according to Belgian reporter Kristof Terreur.
Lukaku’s future at Old Trafford has been something of a source of speculation in recent months after he fell out of favour towards the end of last season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Inter Milan are believed to be interested in landing the 26-year-old striker this summer as they look to add to their squad ahead of the new campaign.
It remains to be seen whether the two clubs will be able to negotiate a fee for the Belgium international this summer as Solskjaer looks to revamp his squad ahead of next season.
Now, Belgian reporter Terreur has claimed that there has not been a lot of progress in talks between the two clubs for the transfer of Lukaku.
In an update posted to his personal Twitter account, Terreur said: “Lukaku’s agent: ‘Romelu Lukaku is a dream (for Inter), a difficult one to make happen as such, but I believe nothing is impossible.’
“Situation as it stands: not a lot of progress. Lukaku is still a priority for Inter, but Man United want hard cash, not a swap deal.”
Manchester United themselves are thought to be on the lookout for a number of new signings ahead of next season.
The Red Devils have already concluded a deal to sign midfielder Daniel James from Swansea City so far this summer.
