Jose Mourinho warns Man United fans about ‘difficult’ season
Jose Mourinho warns Man United fans that his side are in for a tough test this season

Jose Mourinho has warned Manchester United’s supporters that he is expecting a “difficult” season for the Red Devils.
Manchester United are aiming to be among the challengers for the Premier League title this season after they finished in second place and without a trophy last term.
The Red Devils ended up losing the FA Cup final to Chelsea FC last term as Mourinho’s second campaign in charge at Old Trafford ended without any silverware.
It has been something of a mixed start to the new campaign for Manchester United, with the Red Devils having lost back to back games against Brighton and Tottenham before bouncing back.
And Mourinho has warned his players and the fans that it will not be a simple campaign for his side this term.
Speaking at a news conference before Saturday’s clash with Wolves at Old Trafford in the Premier League, Mourinho said: “I am optimistic, but a difficult season, yes. For sure a difficult season.
“I don’t change that because we won two matches in the Premier League. A difficult season for sure.”
He continued: “I think we are going to be a better team. We are going to play better than we did, so that’s what we can do.
“But I think it’s going to be a very difficult season, not just for us, also for the others because the others they can say exactly the same as I am saying.”
Manchester United will return to action on Tuesday night when they host Derby County in the third round of the League Cup.
The Red Devils are aiming to try and challenge for the title this season, but they have not won the top-flight crown since their final triumph under Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2013.
