Jose Mourinho makes blunt point about Man United squad
Jose Mourinho says Manchester United's first-choice starting line-up will not change much from last season

Jose Mourinho says that Manchester United’s first-choice starting line-up is likely to be very similar to last season’s one.
The Red Devils have been linked with a host of players this summer, but they have only so far brought in Diogo Dalot, Fred and Lee Grant.
Manchester United are still believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to try and build a squad capable of winning the title next season.
The Red Devils finished in second place and without a trophy last season, but they will be aiming to be one of the main contenders for the Premier League title next term.
However, Mourinho has played down Manchester United’s summer transfer business and says that the starting line-up will be more or less the same as last term.
Speaking in an interview with beIN Sports, Mourinho said: “More or less, I know [the likely line-up for the first game of the season].
“It’s not going to be very different. We basically have the same players.
“The players we have bought – one is a goalkeeper cover, one is a 19-year-old kid, so in fact we have one new player, which is Fred.
“So, of course, our team is not going to be very different.”
Manchester United could still move to bring in some more signings before the transfer window closes on 9 August.
The Red Devils are aiming to try and win the Premier League title for the first time since their final triumph under Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2013 after finishing without a trophy last term.
