Jose Mourinho ‘desperate’ for Man United to make this signing – report
Jose Mourinho wants to bring in a new central defender next month at Man United, say reports

Jose Mourinho is becoming increasing frustrated by Manchester United’s lack of activity ahead of the January transfer window, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the Red Devils boss is on a “fresh collision course” with executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward over the club’s transfer plans.
According to the same story, Mourinho is “desperate” for Manchester United to sign a new central defender in the January transfer window.
The same report claims that Mourinho believes that Manchester United’s defensive frailties this season have been down to their failure to recruit a new centre-half in the summer.
The story also claims that Mourinho would be willing to sell Eric Bailly, Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones in order to fund a move for a new defender next month.
The same article reports that Toby Alderweireld, Kalidou Koulibaly and Milan Skriniar are all potential targets for the Red Devils in January.
Manchester United are likely to be linked with a number of new signings next month following their stuttering start to the new season.
They are currently 16 points behind leaders Liverpool FC in the Premier League table as they prepare for their trip to Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
