Owen Hargreaves predicts where Man United will finish

Owen Hargreaves says he is fully expecting Manchester United to finish in the Premier League’s top four this season.

The Red Devils suffered a blow to their Champions League qualification hopes on Saturday when they were held to a frustrating goalless draw by West Brom at Old Trafford.

That result left Jose Mourinho’s men facing an uphill task to secure a Champions League spot as the Premier League seasons approaches its conclusion.

Manchester United are also set to take on Anderlecht in the quarter-finals of the Europa League later this months as they bid to win the trophy this season.

However, Hargreaves feels that his former employers are still on course to secure a top-four finish this term – as well as a Europa League triumph.

Speaking on BT Sport’s Premier League Tonight show, Hargreaves said: “I still think they can push for the top four. They’ve got a massive squad… so many players.

“They should be the heavy favourites to win the Europa League. With the squad that they have, loads of superstars, they should win the Europa League.”
