Jose Mourinho has revealed that he still doesn’t know when Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini will be back in action for Manchester United.

The midfield pair are currently nursing injuries and they both sat out the 1-0 victory over Benfica in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Pogba has been out of action since suffering a hamstring injury during the Champions League clash with Basel last month.

The French midfielder has been stepping up his rehabilitation in recent weeks and has posted plenty of updates on social media as he continues working on his fitness levels.

Fellaini, meanwhile, has been sidelined after suffering a knee injury while on international duty with Belgium earlier this month,

Speaking after Manchester United’s victory over Benfica on Wednesday night, Mourinho revealed that he is still unsure when the pair will be back available for selection again.

Mourinho told his post-match news conference: “I don’t know about Paul, I don’t know about Fellaini.”

Manchester United return to Premier League action on Saturday afternoon with a trip to newly-promoted Huddersfield Town.

The Red Devils are currently second in the Premier League table and two points behind leaders Manchester City after eight games of the new campaign.

Manchester United played out a goalless draw with Liverpool in their most recent outing last weekend.
