Paul Pogba heaps praise on Fred after his Man United debut for the Red Devils in the Premier League

Paul Pogba has heaped praise on Fred after the midfielder made his Manchester United debut for the Red Devils last weekend.
Fred started the Red Devils’ 2-1 win over Leicester City in the Premier League and played for 76 minutes as he helped Jose Mourinho’s men to wrap up the three points in his first game for the Red Devils in the top flight.
The Brazilian midfielder was one of three new arrivals at Manchester United in the summer transfer window as the Red Devils also brought in Diogo Dalot and Lee Grant.
Pogba captained Manchester United to victory in the clash against Leicester and netted from the penalty spot to set Jose Mourinho’s men on their way towards the three points.
And the France midfielder has admitted that he was very impressed by what he saw from Fred as the Red Devils kicked off the new season on a positive note.
Speaking in an interview with MUTV, Pogba said: “Fred came in and, for his first game, did great.
“It’s his first game and you know you have to adapt. It’s not easy. He’s done a great job in the win.”
Both Pogba and Fred will be hoping to start for Manchester United when the Red Devils return to Premier League action with an away trip to Brighton and Hove Albion next weekend.
The Red Devils are aiming to win the Premier League for the first time since 2013.
