Juventus chief speaks about the possibility of signing Man United star
Juventus chief Fabio Paratici hints that the club are open to the prospect of re-signing Paul Pogba
Juventus chief Fabio Paratici has hinted that the Italian club are interested in a move to re-sign Paul Pogba next year.
The 25-year-old midfielder’s form for Manchester United has been constantly under the spotlight since his return to Old Trafford from the Italian side back in the summer of 2016.
Pogba has struggled to produce consistent form for long periods under Jose Mourinho and there have been constant reports of a difficult relationship between the pair.
Manchester United have been struggling to find consistent form this season under the Portuguese coach and there is likely to be plenty of speculation as the January transfer window draws nearer.
Now, Juventus chief Paratici has been quoted as saying that the Italian side have discussed the possibility of re-signing Pogba on a number of occasions.
Paratici is quoted as saying by The Sun: “A return [for Pogba]? We have already discussed this many times.
“He’s a great player we’ve had before and are fond of, but now he plays for Manchester United.
“We are exploring the market, the president and Pavel Nedved, with the help of coach [Massimiliano] Allegri.
“To improve the team we are always careful. We still have great players and we enjoy them. It will not be easy to always have so many strong ones.”
Pogba will be expecting to feature for Manchester United when the Red Devils return to Premier League action with a home clash against Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday.
Mourinho has been tasked with leading Manchester United to a trophy this season after they ended up second and without any silverware at all last term.
