Agent Mino Raiola is set to tell Manchester United that he will be able to broker a £100m deal for Paul Pogba to move to FC Barcelona next week, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Star is reporting that the French midfielder’s agent is set to hold talks with Manchester United officials this week to discuss Pogba’s future.
The France international’s situation at Old Trafford has been a constant source of speculation this summer after his mixed form for the Red Devils last term.
The same report also says that both Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in moves to bring Pogba away from Manchester United this summer.
Pogba was regularly criticised for his failure to produce consistent performances for Manchester United last season as the Red Devils finished in second place in the Premier League table.
According to the same story, Pogba’s relationship with manager Jose Mourinho has deteriorated and that means he could be on his way out of Old Trafford this summer despite him having three years left to run on his contract.
FC Barcelona could feasibly complete a deal to sign Pogba any time between now and the end of August, when the European transfer window closes.
The Premier League transfer window for inbound moves closes at 17:00 on Thursday 9 August.
