Top 25-year-old midfielder turns down transfer as he’s holding out for Man United move – report
James Rodriguez has snubbed a move to AC Milan because he wants to join Manchester United, say reports

James Rodriguez has turned down a transfer to AC Milan because he is holding out for a move to Manchester United this summer, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish outlet Don Balon, as quoted by the Sun, claims that the Colombian midfielder was offered the chance to move to the Serie A club this summer but would rather head to Old Trafford.
The same report claims that Real Madrid accepted a £52.9m (€60m) bid for Rodriguez from Milan but that the player himself doesn’t want to move to the Italian side.
The story also says that Rodriguez, who has also been linked with Chelsea, is “likely” to leave Real Madrid this summer in search of regular first-team football next season.
It is also claimed that Manchester United remain in the “driving seat” to secure the signing of Rodriguez this summer.
Manchester United are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as the Red Devils prepare for a return to the Champions League next season.
However, the Red Devils have so far only completed a deal to bring in defender Victor Lindelof from Benfica.
