Alan Smith predicts where Man United will finish this season
Alan Smith is tipping Man United to finish in third place in the Premier League table this season

Alan Smith is tipping Manchester United to finish in third place in the Premier League table this season, behind Manchester City and Liverpool FC.
The Red Devils have just begun their third campaign under new boss Jose Mourinho as they look to try and mount a serious Premier League title challenge this term.
Manchester United ended up in second place in the Premier League table and without a trophy last season as Manchester City ran away with the title and won the trophy with a record points tally.
Mourinho brought in Diogo Dalot, Fred and Lee Grant in what was a rather underwhelming transfer window for the Red Devils.
Manchester United kicked off their new campaign with a 2-1 win over Leicester City in front of their home fans at Old Trafford last week.
They are now preparing for their trip to Brighton and Hove Albion in the top flight on Sunday afternoon as they look to try and establish themselves as contenders for the title.
However, Arsenal legend Smith is tipping Manchester United to finish in third place in the Premier League table this season.
Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, Smith said: “I do not think it will be a particularly entertaining campaign for United fans, but they had a great defensive record last season and although he did not get his centre-half, there is no reason why they will not be as difficult to beat.”
Manchester United have not won the title since 2013.
