Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: The type of player Man United want to sign

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Manchester United will only look to sign players with the correct attitude this summer.
The Red Devils are bound to be linked with a host of big names as they look to bring in reinforcements after a disappointing campaign for the club.
Manchester United brought Solskjaer in as their manager back in December after the sacking of Jose Mourinho, and he was given the job on a permanent basis back in March.
However, the Red Devils endured a disappointing end to the campaign as they slumped to a sixth placed finish in the Premier League and ended up without a trophy.
Manchester United will now be focused on making sure that they bring in the right players needed to bolster their squad as they look to improve next season.
And Solskjaer has now outlined the qualities he will look for when looking to bring in new players this summer.
Speaking in an interview quoted by the Sun, Solskjaer said: “We’ve tried to educate our players and our kids to be proper people. In my view, the best players have always been the best people.
“You have to have that value system and a certain kind of attitude about you to make a Man United player.
“You have got to have the qualities and our fans want to see exciting players. Of course we want to get up from our seats.
“We want to see defenders who defend like they’re doing it for their lives – that’s the most important thing.
“When we go to press with Jesse and Marcus, in the games against Barcelona, PSG, Liverpool and Chelsea, when we start these games, our fans clap a striker making a tackle.
“It’s always been in our culture. You have to have that work ethic and we’re scouting the market, trying to find the right ones.”
Manchester United have not won the Premier League title since Sir Alex Ferguson’s final campaign in charge in the 2012-13 season.
The Red Devils have not won a trophy for the last two seasons running.
