Man United poised to confirm fourth summer signing – report
Man United are close to signing Toby Alderweireld from Tottenham, say reports

Manchester United have a deal in place to sign Toby Alderweireld from Tottenham Hotspur this summer, according to reports in the British media.
Website Goal, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Red Devils have reached an agreement to land the 29-year-old but are now waiting for Tottenham Hotspur to find a suitable replacement.
According to the same story, the defender has been Manchester United’s prime defensive target all summer.
Spurs were thought to be demanding £75m to seal a deal for the defender but a compromise has now been reached, according to the article.
However, the same article says that the deal will not be finalised until Tottenham are able to bring in a suitable replacement for Alderweireld.
That means that the north London club need to move quickly to bring in a replacement before the summer transfer window closes on Thursday afternoon.
Manchester United will kick off the new Premier League season when they host Leicester City at Old Trafford on Friday night.
The Red Devils will be looking to challenge for the Premier League title next season after they ended up in second place in the table and without a trophy last term.
