Jose Mourinho sends message to Man United fans ahead of Tottenham clash
Jose Mourinho wants Manchester United fans to create a hostile atmosphere when the Red Devils host Tottenham this weekend

Jose Mourinho has asked Manchester United’s fans to get fully behind their tram as they prepare to take on Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Red Devils head into the game looking to get back to winning ways in the top flight after their shock 2-1 loss to Huddersfield Town last weekend.
That result dealt a blow to Manchester United’s title hopes and left the Red Devils five points behind leaders Manchester City heading into this weekend’s round of fixtures.
Tottenham, meanwhile, have been in good form in the Premier League and head into this weekend’s games on the back of their impressive 4-1 thrashing of Liverpool at Wembley last weekend.
Mourinho has pleaded with Manchester United fans to create a raucous atmosphere when they welcome Spurs to Old Trafford this weekend.
Speaking at his pre-match news conference on Friday afternoon, Mourinho said: “I can remember really good atmospheres against Chelsea and Liverpool, so if the supporters can make it really good [again], it’s a positive for us.”
Manchester United are currently second in the Premier League table and five points behind leaders Manchester City.
Mourinho is aiming to become the first manager to guide the Red Devils to the Premier League title since Sir Alex Ferguson’s final campaign in charge in the 2012-13 campaign.
