Alvaro Morata has told friends that his move to Manchester United this summer is a done deal, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Express is claiming that Morata has informed those close to him that his mind is made up to move to Manchester United from Real Madrid this summer.
The same story claims that Morata ended his honeymoon early to hold talks with Real Madrid and indicate his desire to join the Red Devils ahead of next season.
The article states that Real Madrid are now willing to lower their asking price for Morata down to a fee of around £60m for the 24-year-old.
Morata is said to have made the decision to move to Manchester United are Jose Mourinho made it clear that he wants the Spaniard to be the Red Devils’ new number nine at Old Trafford.
The striker is also said to be hoping that some regular first-team football with Manchester United next season will boost his chances of shining for Spain at next summer’s World Cup in Russia.
