Man United to make £50m bid to sign 27-year-old in January – report
Manchester United are ready to try and sign Danny Rose from Tottenham in January, say reports

Manchester United are ready to make a £50m bid to try and sign Danny Rose from Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that the Red Devils are ready to step up their attempts to try and sign the England defender in the new year as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his squad at Old Trafford.
The same report cites the fact that Rose has been left out of Tottenham’s official 2018 calendar, suggesting that a move away from White Hart Lane could indeed be on the cards for the 27-year-old.
The story claims that Mourinho is keen to add another left-back to his squad after Luke Shaw’s inability to hold down a regular playing spot in the first team at Old Trafford.
However, it also states that Manchester United will face a “tough” test in trying to prise Rose away from Tottenham in January.
The same report says Manchester United’s hopes of signing Rose next year rest on the player himself making it clear to Tottenham that he wants to leave the north London club.
Tottenham have sold the likes of Michael Carrick to Manchester United in the past, but it remains to be seen whether Daniel Levy would be ready to let Rose move to the Red Devils in the new year.
