Wes Brown rates Man United and Liverpool FC’s title chances
Wes Brown is expecting Man United to finish above Liverpool FC next season

Wes Brown believes that Manchester United will be more realistic title contenders than Liverpool FC next season.
Manchester United ended up having to settle for a trophyless campaign last term as they ended up in second place in the Premier League table in Jose Mourinho’s second season in charge.
Liverpool FC, meanwhile, earned plenty of praise for their attacking style of play as they finished in fourth place in the table and also reached the Champions League final.
Manchester United have signed Diogo Dalot, Fred and Lee Grant so far this summer as Mourinho looks to guide his side to a genuine title challenge.
Liverpool FC have also been active in the transfer market, bringing in Fabinho, Naby Keita, Xherdan Shaqiri and Alisson Becker.
However, former Manchester United defender Brown seems to think that the Red Devils are far better placed to be able to challenge for the Premier League title next season.
Speaking in an interview with 888sport, Brown said: “United came second last year so I wouldn’t say they have fallen behind Liverpool at all.
“Liverpool have a really good squad and they’ve added to that as well but as a United fan I’d be looking at United pushing on and challenging Man City.
“There are players who were playing last year who will perform tremendously this year. Sometimes it takes a little time to bed in and I’ve been there myself.
“It’s not just about one season and hopefully the players will improve even more.”
Manchester United have not won the Premier League title since their final triumph under Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2013.
Liverpool FC, meanwhile, are still looking to win their first major trophy under Jurgen Klopp since his appointment at Anfield back in 2015.
