Ian Wright has urged Romelu Lukaku to use his body and strength more often for Manchester United.
The Belgian striker has been settling into life at Old Trafford after having signed for the Red Devils from Everton in the summer transfer window.
Lukaku was named as the man of the match as he scored one goal and set up the other in Manchester United’s 2-1 win over Chelsea FC at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday.
Despite having scored more than 20 goals in all competitions for the Red Devils so far this season, Lukaku has still attracted his fair share of criticism for failing to produce consistent form for Jose Mourinho’s men.
And Arsenal legend Wright has offered the Belgian striker some clear advice when it comes to finding his best form for the Red Devils.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 live, Wright said: “All that has to happen for him against any team in the league is to stay in and around the area [and] make sure when he is linking [up the play] he uses his body and strength in those areas.”
Lukaku will be expecting to start for Manchester United when the Red Devils return to Premier League action on Monday night with a trip to Crystal Palace.
The Red Devils are currently in second place in the Premier League table as they chase qualification for the Champions League next season.
Manchester United finished sixth and won both the Europa League and League Cup last term.
