Man United poised to make 27-year-old Brazilian their first summer signing – report
Manchester United are ready to make a move to sign Alex Sandro from Juventus this summer, say reports

Manchester United are poised to complete a deal to sign Alex Sandro from Juventus in the summer transfer window, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Red Devils are lining up a move for the Juventus left-back as Jose Mourinho looks to strengthen his rearguard options this summer.
The same report says that Manchester United scouts have been keeping a close eye on Brazil international Sandro, who was heavily linked with a move to Chelsea FC last summer.
The story says that Mourinho is “intent” on keeping Luke Shaw at Old Trafford but he still wants to sign an experienced left-back this summer.
According to the same article, the 27-year-old would likely cost as much as £70m, but the large transfer fee is unlikely to put the Red Devils off.
The article also says that Manchester United would be willing to double Sandro’s wages to around £145,000 a week should he opt for a move to Old Trafford.
Sandro has been in good form for Juve so far this season, scoring three goals and making four assists in 18 Serie A games for the Italian side.
Manchester United are bound to be linked with a host of players this summer as they look to build a squad capable of winning the Premier League next season.
