Man United ‘seriously consider’ resigning player sold by Van Gaal – report
Manchester United are seriously considering a move to re-sign defender Jonny Evans from West Brom, say reports

Manchester United are “seriously considering” a move to try and re-sign defender Jonny Evans from West Bromwich Albion, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Red Devils have emerged as genuine competition to Manchester City for the signature of the Northern Ireland defender.
Manchester United are bound to be linked with a host of players this month as Jose Mourinho considers adding to his squad in the mid-season window.
The same report says West Brom want Evans to sign a new contract at The Hawthorns or they will consider selling him this month.
And it is also claimed that Manchester United are ready to make a £20m move to try and bring Evans back to Old Trafford.
Evans has been a regular fixture in the West Brom team this season and has scored one goal and made one assist in 19 Premier League games this term.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are currently preparing for their FA Cup third-round clash against Derby County on Friday night.
The Red Devils are in second place in the Premier League table and 15 points behind runaway leaders Manchester City after 22 games of the new campaign.
Manchester United will take on Sevilla in the last 16 of the Champions League next month.
