Man United still scouting 24-year-old ahead of January window – report
Man United sent scouts to watch Bruno Fernandes in action for Sporting Lisbon at the weekend, say reports

Manchester United are still scouting Bruno Fernandes ahead of the January transfer window, according to reports in Portugal.
Portuguese newspaper O Jogo, as quoted by the Daily Star, is reporting that Manchester United have not given up hope of signing the 24-year-old and they are still keeping tabs on his progress.
According to the same story, Manchester United have been scouting Fernandes in nearly every game for Sporting Lisbon so far this season.
The article claims that three Manchester United representatives were at Sporting’s 3-1 win away to Portimonense on Sunday.
It is claimed in the same story that Chelsea FC also had scouts at the game.
However, the report also suggests that Real Madrid are potentially ready to enter the race for Fernandes’ signature.
Fernandes was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United throughout the summer window but a switch failed to materialise for the midfielder.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are currently preparing for their Premier League clash against Southampton away from home on Saturday afternoon.
The Red Devils suffered a surprise 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace in front of their home fans at Old Trafford last weekend as they slumped to their first Premier League defeat of the season.
