Man United to offer Mkhitaryan in deal to sign 26-year-old Brazilian – report
Man United could offer Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Juventus as part of a deal to sign Alex Sandro, say reports
Manchester United are ready to offer Henrikh Mkhitaryan as part of a deal to sign Alex Sandro from Juventus in the January transfer window, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that the Red Devils are ready to put the Armenia international up for sale after his fall down the pecking order at Old Trafford in recent weeks.
The same report says that Juventus are willing to sell Sandro in January, and that they would prefer a cash-plus-player transaction, but would also “reluctantly” sell for a £50m fee on its own.
The story also claims that Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is a fan of Daley Blind and he could push for the Dutchman to be included as part of any deal.
Chelsea were heavily linked with a move to sign Sandro in the summer transfer window but a move failed to materialise for the 26-year-old defender.
His future continues to be a source of speculation as the January transfer window draws closer and Premier League clubs look to try and bolster their squads in the new year.
Mkhitaryan’s future at Manchester United appears to be in doubt after he fell dramatically out of favour under Jose Mourinho in recent weeks.
