David May states his prediction for Man United v Tottenham in FA Cup
The Man United legend believes the Red Devils will struggle to beat Tottenham in the FA Cup semi-finals

David May has warned Manchester United that beating Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley in the FA Cup semi-final will be tough.
The Red Devils are looking to secure a third major trophy under Portuguese head coach Jose Mourinho following a mixed season.
Manchester United were 2-0 winners against Brighton and Hove Albion in the FA Cup last eight to secure their semi-final spot.
However, Mourinho’s side will come up against Tottenham at Wembley, where Spurs have been playing their home games in the 2017-18 season.
The 20-time English champions lost 2-0 to Spurs at the home of English football in the Premier League back in February thanks to goals from Christian Eriksen and Phil Jones’ own goal.
Former Manchester United defender May admitted that the Red Devils could find it difficult to beat Tottenham in the FA Cup semi-final given Spurs have home advantage.
“It’s a trophy and everybody wants a trophy,” May told 888sport. “It’s going to be tough against Spurs because they do have an advantage in playing at Wembley every week.
“It’s going to have to be played like a cup final and by the way it’s an absolute joke that semi-finals are played at Wembley. It undermines the whole tournament.”
Manchester United were 2-1 winners against Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final at Wembley in 2015.
The Red Devils won the Europa League and the League Cup under Mourinho in the 2016-17 season.
Manchester United signed Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, Benfica defender Victor Lindelof and Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic.
Mourinho added Chile international Alexis Sanchez in a swap deal from Arsenal in the January transfer window.
