Reporter gives latest Man United transfer update on Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Guardian reporter Dominic Fifield sheds light on negotiations between Man United and Crystal Palace about the sale of Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Manchester United still haven’t reached an agreement with Crystal Palace for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to Guardian reporter Dominic Fifield.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a swoop to sign the England Under-21 international in the 2019 summer transfer window.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been linked with a host of full-backs this summer and the right-back position looks to be a priority for the Manchester United boss to strengthen.
Wan-Bissaka impressed in the Crystal Palace side throughout the 2018-19 season but the 21-year-old doesn’t have a lot of experience under his belt in the top flight.
Yet Manchester United could yet make Wan-Bissaka the world’s most-expensive defender after the Red Devils reportedly failed with an opening bid of £35m for the Palace star.
Now, Guardian reporter Fifield has shed light on what is holding up a potential summer deal to bring Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United before the start of the new Premier League season.
Fifield wrote on Twitter: “Still no agreement reached between Crystal Palace and Manchester United after further talks over Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
“Negotiations will continue, I’d imagine, but fee that would be guaranteed to #cpfc hasn’t risen to a level they would consider acceptable as yet.”
Ecuador international Antonio Valencia left Manchester United on a free transfer earlier this summer, while English defender Ashley Young will turn 34 on 9 July.
The Red Devils signed Portuguese youngster Diogo Dalot in a £17m deal from FC Porto last summer but the full-back had a mixed first season at Manchester United.
Solskjaer has only signed Swansea midfielder Daniel James in the summer so far.
