Man United ready to sign 24-year-old midfielder in Spain’s second league – report
Manchester United are preparing to sign Cadiz midfielder Alvaro Garcia in a £7.2m fee, according to reports

Manchester United are prepared to raid Spanish second division side Cadiz for midfielder Alvaro Garcia, according to reports.
Spanish media outlet Grada 3, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the Red Devils are getting ready to activate the 24-year-old £7.2m contract release clause.
The same article states that Garcia’s buyout clause will increase to £13.4m if Cadiz secure promotion to La Liga which could explain Manchester United’s urgency to get a deal completed.
Manchester United could face competition from other Premier League clubs for the rising star of La Liga 2, according to the story.
Garcia has scored two goals in four appearances so far this season for Cadiz.
The Spanish midfielder would have the chance to link up with his compatriots David De Gea, Ander Herrera and Juan Mata at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils are sitting in second place in the Premier League table and level on points with current leaders Manchester City after seven games.
Manchester United will make the short trip to bitter rivals Liverpool in their next Premier League clash at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
Jose Mourinho signed Benfica defender Victor Lindelof, Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic and Everton striker Romelu Lukaku.
The 20-time English champions have scored 21 times and have kept six clean sheets in their opening Premier League fixtures of the 2017-18 season.
