Man United join Chelsea in race to sign top 22-year-old – report
Manchester United have joined the race to sign Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco this summer, say reports

Manchester United have joined Chelsea in the race to sign Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is claiming that Manchester United have told Monaco that they are prepared to pay more than £40m to sign the 22-year-old midfielder this summer.
The same report says that Monaco have “invited” Chelsea to improve their £37m bid for Bakayoko, which is said to have not been officially accepted by the French club yet.
However, the story also claims that Bakayoko is more keen on a move to Chelsea than Manchester United this summer.
Bakayoko has been heavily linked with Chelsea throughout the summer transfer window but the Blues have not been able to get a deal for the midfielder across the line.
Manchester United, meanwhile, have already beaten Chelsea to one of their top targets this summer by securing a deal to sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton on Monday.
Chelsea will be keen to significantly bolster their squad this summer as they prepare for a return to the Champions League next season.
