Paul Scholes admits he’s desperate for Man United to make this signing
Paul Scholes delivers his verdict on the prospect of Man United signing Gareth Bale from Real Madrid

Paul Scholes admits that he would love to see Gareth Bale sign for Manchester United this summer – but he feels that a move is unlikely.
Bale’s future has been a big source of speculation in recent days after he helped to fire Real Madrid to a 3-1 Champions League final win over Liverpool FC in Kiev on Saturday night.
The 28-year-old admitted that he will be considering his future this summer after his lack of playing time under Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu this season.
Bale has long been linked with a move to Manchester United and it remains to be seen whether the transfer talk will be backed up with any concrete dealings this summer.
Manchester United legend Scholes admits that he would love to see Bale move to the Red Devils this summer, but he feels that the Wales international is unlikely to leave the Spanish club.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Scholes said: “Can I see it happening? No, not really.
“The only reason he’d want to leave Real Madrid would be if they wanted him to go.
“Could he come to Man United then? I hope so. Every United fan would want him: great ability, great talent, scores great goals.
“If it’s possible then, yeah, great, I hope it happens. But I don’t see it happening.”
Bale scored two goals for Real Madrid after coming off the bench in the second half of the Champions League final against Liverpool FC.
Manchester United are bound to be linked with a host of players this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to build a team who can win the Premier League next season.
