Man United to beat Chelsea to another top star this summer – report
Manchester United want to make a move to sign James Rodriguez from Real Madrid this summer, say reports

Manchester United are set to beat Chelsea to the signing of James Rodriguez from Real Madrid, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Express is reporting that the Red Devils are ready to deal another “blow” to the Blues by securing a deal for the 25-year-old Colombia international.
Manchester United won the race to sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton over the weekend, with Chelsea having been linked with a move for the Belgian forward throughout the summer.
And now it seems that the Red Devils are set to battle with Chelsea for another player this summer with a move for Rodriguez.
The same report claims that Rodriguez favours a transfer to Old Trafford this summer to link up with Jose Mourinho.
The story also states that it was Mourinho who advised Chelsea against inserting a buy-back clause into Lukaku’s sale to Everton back in 2014.
The article says that Manchester United look set to battle with both Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain for the signature of Rodriguez this summer.
Chelsea won the Premier League last season, while Manchester United finished sixth in the top-flight table.
