Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is set to sign a six-year deal at Old Trafford, according to a report

Manchester United are set to make David De Gea the world’s highest-paid goalkeeper, according to a report in England.
The Telegraph is reporting that De Gea is set to sign a six-year deal with Manchester United worth around £117m.
The same article states that the Spain international will be earning around £375,000 a week at the 20-time English champions.
According to the same story, De Gea will put pen to paper on the deal once Manchester United return from their tour of Asia and Australia.
De Gea’s future has been a source of relentless debate over the past 12 months or so amid reported interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
The 28-year-old has 12 months left to run on his current deal at the Old Trafford outfit to leave Manchester United in a vulnerable position.
De Gea’s performance level appeared to dip in the second half of the season amid continued speculation surrounding his future.
Manchester United signed De Gea in a £17m deal from Atletico Madrid in the 2011 summer transfer window.
The Spanish shot-stopper has won the Premier League, the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Europa League during his spell at Manchester United.
The Red Devils finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last term.
