Man United plot move to sign 22-year-old Ajax star – report
Manchester United want to sign David Neres from Ajax this summer, according to a report

Manchester United are interested in a deal to sign Ajax winger David Neres before deadline day, according to a report in Spain.
Spanish media outlet Yahoo! Esportes is reporting that Manchester United are prepared to make a bid of €50m (£46m) for the Brazilian winger.
The same article states that the Red Devils have hijacked Ajax’s plans to tie down Neres to a long-term deal at the Champions League semi-finalists.
According to the same story, Manchester United’s initial bid has been knocked back as Ajax are looking to secure a transfer fee in the region of €70m (£64m).
The report goes on to add that one stumbling block in the deal is that Sao Paulo will be owed 23 per cent if Neres is sold to Manchester United this summer.
Neres has been linked with a host of top European clubs this summer, including Champions League winners Liverpool FC and north London side Arsenal.
The Gunners made Ivory Coast international Nicolas Pepe their record signing last week after Arsenal signed the Lille winger in a £72m deal.
Manchester United finished in sixth spot in the Premier League table last season to miss out on a place in the Champions League.
The Red Devils have only finished in the top four on four occasions in the past six seasons.
