Manchester United are interested in a potential double move to sign West Ham midfielder Declan Rice and Napoli centre-half Kalidou Koulibaly, according to a report in England.

Website Goal is reporting that the Red Devils are targeting a new midfielder and a new centre-half ahead of the 2020-21 Premier League season to bolster their squad.

The same article states that Manchester United are already looking to sort out their long-term future irrespective of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s situation at the club.

According to the same story, the 20-time English champions are eager to improve their squad following a disappointing start to the current campaign.

Goal go on to add that West Ham star Rice is a priority for Manchester United as the Red Devils look to replace Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera.

The respected website add that Manchester United believe that Senegal international Koulibaly would be the ideal centre-half partner for Harry Maguire.

Manchester United lost 1-0 to Newcastle United in their last Premier League game before the international break.

The Red Devils are in 12th place in the Premier League table and 15 points adrift of Premier League leaders Liverpool FC.

Solskjaer signed Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Maguire in the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils haven’t won the Premier League title since 2013.
