Manchester United are lining up summer transfer bids to sign three players from FC Barcelona this summer, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish outlet Don Balon, as quoted by the Daily Mirror, is reporting that Jose Mourinho has identified Andre Gomes, Samuel Utiti and Marc-Andre Ter Stegen as top targets for the Red Devils ahead of next season.
The same story says that Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho is “desperate” to revamp his squad at Old Trafford ahead of next season as he looks for his team to be able to challenge Manchester City’s Premier League dominance next term.
It is claimed in the same article that defender Utiti would cost around €60m, while goalkeeper Ter Stegen is valued at around €100m and could be a replacement if David De Gea leaves Old Trafford.
Manchester United are currently in second place in the Premier League table as they prepare for their crunch showdown with Liverpool FC at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
The Red Devils are bound to be linked with a host of players this summer as Mourinho looks to assemble a squad capable of winning the Premier League title for the first time since their final triumph under Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2013.
Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League last term but won the Europa League and League Cup.
