Manchester United are hopeful that Marouane Fellaini will sign a new contract at the club, say reports

Manchester United are confident that Marouane Fellaini will sign a new contract with the Red Devils, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Red Devils feel that the Belgium midfielder will end up committing his future to the Old Trafford outfit.
Fellaini, 29, is in the final year of his contract with Manchester United and both parties are yet to reach an agreement about a new deal.
However, the midfielder’s growing importance to Manchester United has been highlighted in recent games and the same report states that Fellaini is likely to sign a new two-year contract with the Red Devils.
Fellaini underlined his importance to Manchester United last weekend when he scored twice in the 4-0 victory over Crystal Palace in the Premier League at Old Trafford.
Mourinho clearly values the player highly and will be keen to see him commit his future to the club.
The same story in the Daily Mirror claims that Fellaini is likely to sign a new two-year contract, with the option for a further year included.
Fellaini will be hoping to be involved for Manchester United when the Red Devils take on Liverpool in their next crunch Premier League game at Anfield next weekend.
