Manchester United are on the brink of completing deals to sign Shakhtar Donetsk star Fred and FC Porto defender Diogo Dalot, according to a reportxx

Manchester United are set to sign Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred and FC Porto full-back Diogo Dalot before the end of the week, according to a report in England.
The Telegraph is reporting that the Red Devils are set to finalise a £52m deal to sign the Brazilian midfielder ahead of his participation in the World Cup in Russia.
The same article states that Fred made the short trip to Manchester for a medical at the Old Trafford outfit having played in Brazil’s 2-0 friendly win over Croatia at Anfield.
Manchester United are tipped to cough up £52m for the 25-year-old midfielder, who will help to replace the void left by Michael Carrick in the middle of the park.
The Red Devils have been linked with a swoop to sign FC Porto’s promising defender Dalot to bolster their options at both left-back and right-back ahead of next season.
According to the same story, Dalot has a contract release clause of £17.5m which becomes active at the end of June but Manchester United are wary about waiting so long amid interest from other clubs.
As a result, the Daily Telegraph is tipping Manchester United to pay over the odds for Dalot to secure a deal as soon as possible.
Manchester United haven’t won the Premier League title since 2013.
