Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reassures Fred that he has a future at Old Trafford

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reassured Fred that he does have a long-term future at Manchester United, according to a report in England.
The Sun, as quoted by the Daily Mirror, is reporting that Fred has spoken to Solskjaer on the phone to seek assurances about his role in the Manchester United manager’s vision for the club.
The same article states that Fred is attracting interest from Serie A giants AS Roma and Turkish outfit Galatasaray in the current transfer window.
According to the same story, Manchester United have rejected a number of loan enquiries for the Brazil international to underline their intention to keep Fred.
The report goes on to add that Solskjaer is optimistic that Fred will have a better second season at Old Trafford after the Brazilian playmaker struggled in the 2018-19 campaign following his £53m switch from Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk.
Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last term as Solskjaer’s side finished behind Chelsea FC, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal in the top-four race.
The Red Devils ended the season with a trophy after losing to FC Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals and Wolves in the last eight of the FA Cup.
Manchester United haven’t won the Premier League title since 2013.
