Gareth Bale appears to indicate that he is planning to stay at Real Madrid beyond the summer transfer window
Gareth Bale has indicated that he is planning for life at Real Madrid next season after having been linked with Manchester United this summer.
The Wales international has been touted as a possible transfer target for the Red Devils this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his attacking options at Old Trafford.
Bale was believed to be close to joining Manchester United back in 2013 before he ended up signing for Real Madrid from Tottenham.
It remains to be seen whether the recent reports linking Bale with a move to Manchester United are anything more than newspaper speculation.
And the player himself has now hinted that he sees his future in the Spanish capital.
Speaking in his ambassadorial role for Altitude Resistance Mask, Bale said: “I’m feeling better than ever and can’t wait for the new season to start.
“I’m hungrier than ever to win more trophies for the biggest club and best fans in the world.”
Manchester United are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer but have so far only completed the capture of defender Victor Lindelof from Benfica.
The Red Devils are preparing for a return to the Champions League next season after Jose Mourinho led the Red Devils to Europa League glory last term.
